First Presbyterian Church of Whitefish
Located at the corner where church and life intersect!
At the heart of our life together is Worship.
In worship we are met by the one God who creates us, redeems us in his Son Jesus Christ and renews us daily through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Whatever your worship tradition has been or if you have never been to church before, you are Welcome here.
First Presbyterian Church – Whitefish, it is our vision to make certain all people feel part of the greater Christian community. After all, we are all very important members of the Body of Christ.
We provide ongoing opportunities for you to develop relationships and grow in Christian Fellowship.
Our Deacons provide a time of fellowship each Sunday following worship and we invite you to join in. Refreshments are served and conversation is lively.
In addition, we also provide fellowship events and meals throughout the year to strengthen our family and community life together.
We also care very much for your spiritual and emotional needs. If you need pastoral assistance, Pastor Tim is always available. You can speak with him personally or request him to call you.
Time and again, Jesus challenged people to grow in their faith, knowledge and relationship with God. From those earliest moments, learning together has always been an important part of church life.
In Acts 2:42 we read how the early Christians devoted themselves to the teaching of the Apostles. What was necessary for a strong faith then is just as important now.
We strive to provide spiritual growth opportunities where you can ask the tough questions, seek truth and be drawn into a nourishing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Through our active Outreach programs, First Presbyterian Church of Whitefish helps local, community and global programs.
Jesus was clear that his followers are to be servants:
Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant…just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
There are many opportunities for service in our church, whether you enjoy building houses with Habitat for Humanity, financially sponsoring local health clinics, donating time to our Children’s & Youth Ministries or volunteering at our local food banks. We can all make a difference in people’s lives.
