Greetings Everyone
Greetings Everyone.
By now you have probably heard that I am out of the church loop for a couple of weeks. I had surgery on January 15 to correct a hernia at the lower end of my esophagus. This is my 2nd hiatal hernia surgery at that location and so it was a bit more extensive than the first. Thanks to all of you who have been in prayer for the surgeon and the recovery. I am grateful.
If there is an emergency in my absence, please call one of the elders or the church office. These fine folks will do what they need to do to provide you the care and prayer to assist you. I will be kept in the loop via Prayer Chain emails as well as personal emails as needed.
My recovery will be about 2 weeks before I am back into the swing of things. On January 21 Rev. Dusty Otis will be preaching and leading worship. Some of you have come to know Dusty, his wife Heather, and their 5 children. Dusty has served churches in Oklahoma, Detroit, Fort Collins and most recently is serving as a church consultant, working to assist churches move into ministry styles suitable to reach communities in the 21st Century. Dusty has been volunteering with our Wednesday Evening youth group and been doing a wonderful job. Please help him feel welcome.
On January 28, Rev. Tim Lanham of Glacier Camp will be with us. Tim is no stranger to this congregation and always brings God’s Word to life for us. Please help him feel welcome.
My goal is to be back on February 4 to preach, celebrate the Lord’s Supper and then lead us in our Annual Meeting. Please put this date on your calendar. Not only will be reviewing the work of the committees of the church, the year-end financial report, the budget for 2024, but we will also be hearing the report of the Pastor Nominating Committee as it continues its work in seeking the next Long-term pastor.
May the God of peace himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faith, and he will do this. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
See you all soon.
Pastor Paul

4th – 8th grade students join us the first and third Wednesdays of every month, from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm. Our gatherings begin with a shared dinner, setting the stage for fellowship and connection through an intentional topic for the evening that will be introduced, applied to our daily lives, supported by scripture, and experienced in a fun-loving atmosphere. Meetings will take place in Fellowship Hall. Enter the glass doors on 3rd Street and take the stairs up.
